Good finale! Good finale? Yep, good finale!

REALLY?? omg why don’t you just admit you don’t get any of it, and you will never be a big fan of doctor who like me, so please just stop. Thanks.

Well, personally I thought that it was brilliant. The opening sequence was really awesome, and everything that followed was great. I’m sad that this is probably the end of river song as she is definitely one of my favourite ever characters from Who, but she got a brilliant farewell.

Strax, Vastra and Jenny were on top form. Clara was beautiful as ever. And the kids at the start were just as dislikable as last week, but oh well, can’t have everything.

My only real complaint about this episode was the end. I don’t feel like it wrapped up completely.It would have at least been nice to know if the Doctor and Clara come out of the timestream alive (although obviously we are left to assume that they will.)

Pretty hyped for the anniversary special and to see what the John Hurt Doctor is all about, though I must admit the text popping up at the end was a little silly.

4.8/5. Great! But not perfect for a finale.

I think that sums up the ‘Nightmare in Silver’. Neil Gaiman wrote the Doctor’s wife, one of the best episodes in 2011. All of the stuff with the Cybermen and the doctor fighting with himself was brilliant. Some of the Cybermen stuff was really really cool. Warrick Davis was amazing as expected. There were a couple of plot points that didn’t make sense, and the children for pointless and forgettable.

Looking forward to next week! The Doctor’s name!

Jesus. I hate misunderstandings on Facebook. Especially when they’re with people whose English skills aren’t so great. You’ll write a massive message explaining yourself, and end up getting a reply with a bunch if abuse. If it wasn’t a very close friend I’d be annoyed for a very long time. Instead I just ended up writing an essay of an apology, even though I’m not the one in the wrong! Just hope he bothers to read it…

Doctor Who Crimson Horror thoughts -spoilers-

Right back up to scratch this week. I know I shouldn’t like Strax, but I can’t help but love him.

Jenny, Strax and Madame Vastra are definitely fully established characters now, and I cannot wait to see more of them. I wont lie, I got a little bit excited the moment I remembered that they met the other version of Clara in the christmas special.

Clara was on top form. While she wasn’t as prominent in this episode, she shocked me and the Doctor by undermining his Sonic Screwdriver by simply saying ‘I have a chair’

It was also good to see that the writers still aren’t afraid to kill people off, and I felt that Ada’s attack on Mr Sweet at the end was quite rewarding.

My only criticism is that I thought that the Doctor’s very first appearance just before the opening titles was a little cheesy. I’m getting a little bored of him popping up at the last possible second before the titles roll. We’re used to it now, it’s not mysterious.

Doctor Who a Crimson Horror was funny, creepy and jumpy at times, and very enjoyable, and did a great job of reintroducing the Victorian team into the show. The end was also great, and it’ll be interesting to see how the Doctor takes having kids on the tardis, or more importantly, how the kids take meeting Cybermen! Neil Gaiman’s Cybermen! And Warrick Davis! (can’t wait)

Another Saturday to sit on my own and wallow in my own self pity. Another day to sit and consider how insecure I was and am, and wonder if I’ll ever have any reason not to be.

Or- another day to think about how good things were and move on. More people will come, and eventually the perfect person…
